Why this hotel? Very Stylish. In Central Park.
Impeccably located in Central Park, you'll be around the corner from Madison and Fifth Avenues. It's just a ten-minute walk to the Rockefeller Center.
The Pierre combined the finest Indian design with a Neoclassical twist. It's one of the most stylish and decedant hotels in New York. The rooms are painted in lightly accented colours and some come with lavish Indian ornaments.
The on-site dining options are particularly impressive. Chef Ashfer Biju presides over the kitchen - one of the finest in Manhattan. You can also dine in the swanky rotunda which is surrounded by trompe l'oeil murals.

Why this hotel? Off The Tourist Trail. Superb dining.
By 2010, The Surrey became the only Relais & Chateaux hotel in NYC and underwent a dramatic makeover. Previously an aparment-style hotel, it was updated in order to compete with its neighbours. It's located in a residential area, so the location is ideal if you want an oasis away from the swarms of tourists. It's a short walk to The Lexington subway.
The rooms are contemporary and come with a small sitting area. The colour scheme is black and white. Beds feature Dux mattresses and have 500-thread-count cotton sheets. A peaceful night's sleep is guaranteed.
Guests of The Surrey can dine on-site at the hotel's Cafe Boulud, serving French cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. co*cktails are available in Bar Pleiades.

Why this hotel? Historic Hotel. Classic luxury.
This is one of the most iconic hotels in New York. Heck, it's one of the most iconic hotels on the planet. You're right next door to the Bergdorf Goodman store. The carriages lined up along the south end of Central Park are across the street.
The Beaux-Arts building is a suitably grand and famous New York landmark. Inside you'll find marble in the lobby crowned by crystal chandeliers. It's like stepping onto a movie set. The rooms are eminently bouji and embody old world glamour.
Inside the hotel, you'll find world-class restaurants and bars including a Champagne Bar and the famous Rose Club.

Why this hotel? Relaxing bath. Fantastic bar.
This historic Beaux-Arts building with Art Deco rooms is New York landmark. It was a favorite of Princess Diana and Jackie O and it's located on Madison and 76th. The lobby is decked with black and gold coloured marble. Does it get more bouji than this? Not really, hun.
The Carlyle is near Central Park on the Upper East Side and near the Whitney Museum of American Art. There are 188 Art Deco rooms, many come with direct views of Central Park.
Café Carlyle is right opposite the hotel - one of New York's most famous jazz clubs.
